🐋 The Role

We're looking for a Back End / Robotics Software Engineer to own the software backbone of our marine surface robotics platform. You will lead the API design and back end architecture that everything else depends on — data pipelines, video streaming, teleoperation infrastructure, and the core systems that make our robots operable in real-world conditions. The focus is robust engineering that works reliably under degraded connectivity and at sea, not research prototypes.

• Own and lead the back end architecture and API layer across all robot control and supervision systems
• Design and maintain reliable data and video pipelines for unstable or variable connections
• Build the communication infrastructure supporting teleoperation, monitoring, and future autonomy modules
• Define and maintain the software foundation as it scales across future products and deployments
